Gold has been on an incredible run—and mining stocks have moved even faster. Major gold-mining indexes soared roughly 160% in 2025, leaving the wider stock market far behind.
The three gold mining companies that are positioned to accelerate the most in these market conditions are Bighorn Metals (Symbol: HRNY), Auro Metals (TSXV: AURO), and San Lorenzo Gold (TSXV: SLG).

Auro Metals (TSXV: AURO): Auro began 2026 as a relatively unknown junior explorer that we spotted early.
Then drilling at its Santa Barbara gold-copper project in Ecuador produced a massive 705.7-metre interval of continuous mineralization beginning at surface. The hole remained mineralized all the way to the end. As investors began to understand the possible scale of the system, Auro’s stock surged approximately 424% during the first half of 2026.
San Lorenzo Gold (TSXV: SLG): San Lorenzo provides another dramatic example of how much profits can be made when we identify stocks at the perfect time.
Drilling at its Salvadora project in Chile returned multiple long sections of gold and copper mineralization, including more than 222 metres of combined mineralized intervals from one hole. After gaining more than 1,000% in 2025, the stock continued climbing and added approximately 415% during the first half of 2026.
Bighorn Metals Corp. (Symbol: HRNY) Could be the next Massive Winner.
Their property sits in a mining district surrounded by enormous deposits, former producing mines and active projects containing billions of dollars in metal.
In mining, one exceptional drill result can change everything. A little-known company can suddenly become one of the most talked-about stocks in the market and its share price can soar instantly.
A Small Explorer With an Enormous Address
Bighorn’s Loljuh property covers approximately 1,657 hectares in central British Columbia, about 40 kilometres south of Smithers and 32 kilometres west of Houston.
Seven mineralized zones have already been identified across the property.

During its recent exploration program, Bighorn collected 477 soil samples and 28 rock samples. That work identified two gold anomalies that remain open at their edges—meaning the company has not yet determined how large those areas could be.
Loljuh at a glance:
1,657 hectares | 7 known mineralized zones | 505 soil and rock samples
Put simply, Bighorn found exciting gold readings at the surface, and the full size of those areas has yet to be mapped.
That is exactly the kind of early-stage setup that can capture the market’s imagination.

The Numbers Surrounding Bighorn Are Enormous
What makes the Bighorn story especially exciting is the sheer scale of the mineral deposits already found nearby.
Approximately 69 kilometres away, Surge Copper’s Berg project contains a proven and probable reserve of 5.8 billion pounds of copper, together with molybdenum, silver and gold.
Using a copper price of US$4.75 per pound, the contained copper alone represents approximately:
US$27.6 BILLION
Now add the project’s molybdenum, silver and gold at simple assumed metal prices, and the gross contained-metal calculation climbs beyond:
US$50 BILLION PLUS
That is an extraordinary number—and a powerful demonstration of the scale of the mineral systems already documented in this part of British Columbia.
Roughly 86 kilometres from Bighorn’s property, Surge Copper’s Ootsa project reports 1.7 billion pounds of copper and 1.6 million ounces of gold in measured and indicated resources, together with molybdenum and silver.
Using the same basic metal-price calculation, Ootsa contains approximately US$18.4 billion in gross metal value.
And the list does not stop there.
Silver Queen, Dome Mountain, the former Equity Silver mine and the former Huckleberry mine are all located within approximately 46 to 81 kilometres of Bighorn’s property.
Bighorn is exploring in the heart of a proven British Columbia mining district—surrounded by major deposits, historic mines and billions of dollars in metal.
Where possible 10x stories begin
Junior explorers can trade like lottery tickets with maps attached. Before a discovery, the market often assigns modest value to the land and the exploration idea.
A strong drill hole can change the entire conversation overnight.

One strong hole can force the market to start imagining scale – and repricing the share price instantly.
A stock that almost nobody was watching can suddenly become one of the hottest names in the junior mining market.
Could HRNY Be the Next Mining Stock to Break Out?
Bighorn’s property sits in a mining neighborhood already known for enormous mineral systems containing billions of dollars in metal.
Today could be the last chance investors have of buying shares of HRNY at under $1 per share.
